The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) plays a central role in mortgage finance and critical role in supporting underserved communities. Under Acting Director Sandra Thompson, the FHFA reiterated its support for the fair lending, revised the GSEs housing goals, and instructed the GSEs to develop equity plans to identify and address barriers to sustainable housing opportunities.
