The Student Membership category aims to engage post-secondary students enrolled in real estate programs at colleges and universities at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Why did NAR create a student membership category?
NAR wants to engage students at an early age, build the future of the industry, educate young professionals on the positives of a career in real estate, and emphasize the value of involvement in NAR.
Why should students join?
By joining at this level, students receive access to some of great member benefits currently offered exclusively to REALTORS®. These include access to:
- nar.realtor content including access to Library, eBooks, REALTOR® Magazine, newsletters, and the online store
- Courses from REALTOR® University at member prices
- Research products and projects (from both NAR and REALTOR® University)
- Member pricing on Conference & Expo registration
These are excellent applied and practical tools that students will find extremely useful both inside and outside the classroom. Additional benefits include social networking, engagement, and the opportunity to make connections and build relationships with industry professionals. Active involvement in NAR adds value to a student's resume for future employment opportunities.
