NAR Meets with USAID

NAR, in conjunction with IHC Global, met with Mark Green, the Administrator of the US Agency for International Development.  NAR helps fund IHC Global and has several representatives on its Board of Directors. The purpose of the meeting was to take re-introduce IHC Global to the USAID.  IHC Global had received funding previously from USAID and was interested in renewing that relationship.

Administrator Green reviewed the goals and mission of USAID and then IHC Global officials reviewed the mission of IHC Global and highlighted projects where their missions coincided and projects where IHC Global could help achieve USAID’s goals. Both organizations are very interested in helping countries achieve self-reliance through robust and flourishing property markets.

The meeting concluded with Administrator Green describing several opportunities that IHC Global could take advantage of and suggested a process to follow to tap into those resources.
