EB-5 Regional Center Program Expires

Due to lack of action in Congress, the EB-5 Regional Center Program expired on June 30, 2021.

What Does That Mean?

  • The EB-5 Visa Program is STILL a viable visa option for foreign investors to get on a path to citizenship.
  • What will no longer be active - as of now - are the regional centers that facilitated the distribution of EB-5 investment resources.
  • As of June 22, 2021 a court ruling vacated the November 2019 EB-5 Modernization Regulations which raised the minimum investment for EB-5 visas. As a result, the EB-5 investment requirements will revert back to the pre-2019 minimum investment of $500,000.

As any new developments occur in this program, we will keep you updated.
