NAR maintains formal relationships with more than 100 organized real estate associations around the world, giving REALTORS® confidence in working with professionals that abide by a code of ethics. These bilateral partnerships exist in 78 countries to help you establish business partnerships and referral opportunities.
Bilateral Partners – NAR forms relationships with more than 100 international organizations who share the same understanding of the real estate market, its developments, and short and long term goals to serve its respective members. This list of partners can include various types of organizations, from regional network associations and federations, to private industry alliances. NAR has these relationships in 78 countries.
Global Ambassadors – NAR members appointed by the NAR President to serve as his or her liaison to each of NAR's foreign bilateral partners. Global Ambassadors are CIPS designees and have knowledge of and/or experience with the real estate industry and regional culture of at least one country in the country grouping they are appointed to serve.

Get Involved Locally – Global Business Councils
Local boards around the nation establish global or international councils/committees dedicated to globally themed education, programming, and networking for their members.
Ambassador Associations – Think "Sister-City" program. This program links a foreign bilateral partner with a U.S. state or local REALTOR® association. The Ambassador Association works closely with a Global Ambassador and Global Coordinator to expand global business opportunities.
