The President & CEO recommend and participate in the association's mission, goals, objectives, and related policies. Within this framework, the CEO plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs the staff, programs, and activities of the association. The CEO's responsibilities include establishing administrative policies and procedures for association office functions, organizing the association and related staffing structure, recruiting, hiring, training, promoting, and terminating staff, and administering an effective personnel program. Additionally, the CEO is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing membership promotion and retention programs, maintaining the association, and developing and maintaining publications that are responsive to member needs. The CEO must also conduct the research necessary for the association and maintain effective internal and external public relations. Other responsibilities of the CEO include serving as the spokesperson for the association, managing the finances of the association within the approved budget, ensuring the legal integrity of the association, executing all decisions of the board of directors, and coordinating and attending meetings of the board of directors and the elected officials of the association. The CEO must also monitor and assist elected officials and association committees, and provide periodic reports and recommendations to the association chairman, officers, and directors. Internal relationships of the CEO include regular contact with the board of directors and its committees on policy matters and other issues as appropriate. Additionally, the CEO must maintain personal contact with the TEXAS REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, and the general membership to the greatest degree possible. Executive Director - Morrow, GA
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management and operations for Metro South Association of REALTORS® (MSAR) and the MSAR Education Foundation. The Executive Director will serve as the Executive Vice President of MSAR Education Foundation. The Executive Director will report to each organization’s board of directors/board of trustees. The Executive Director will work with the association staff to develop, implement and fulfill MSAR initiatives and directives (at all committee levels) while addressing member needs, fostering the organization’s unique culture/education model, providing staff leadership, protecting the association’s financial assets and ensuring compliance with the applicable federal, state and credentialing organization requirements.
- Oversees the business and administrative work of Metro South Association of REALTORS® and MSAR Education Foundation while collaborating with both the board of directors and board of trustees to support their governance role.
- Oversees the ongoing implementation of a public relations strategy that positively positions the real estate industry, the association, affiliate members, and the public that may incorporate traditional and digital social media. \

Director, Political Affairs - Minnetonka, MN
Responsible for leading the development and implementation of MN-RPAC annual fundraising plan. Serve as the staff liaison to the MN-RPAC board of trustees and work with MN-RPAC board of trustees chair on all meeting agendas and the preparation of meeting materials. Work with Minnesota REALTOR® (MNR) Governmental Affairs Team on RPAC funds disbursement strategy and political engagement, including independent expenditure activities. Assist local REALTOR® associations in meeting fundraising goals and in meeting National Association of REALTOR® (NAR) Core Standards requirements related to RPAC. Work with MNR Accounting Department on RPAC budget development/accountability and on submission of reports to the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board. Interim AE - Hudson, NY
The Columbia Greene Board of REALTORS® (CGBOR) and the Columbia Greene Northern Dutchess MLS (MLS), located in Hudson, New York, are searching for an interim Association Executive (AE).
The AE will be expected to:
- Be available to work both remotely and on-site.
- Be able to work on-site for a minimum of 40 hours per week during an initial audit period. During this audit period, the AE will assess the current processes and workflow of both the CGBOR and the MLS and identify any gaps in member services and compliance.
- Based on information gleaned during the audit period, advise CGBOR and MLS leadership as to the optimal split of their time working remotely and on-site.
- To possess some knowledge of, and practical experience with, the rules, structure and functioning of an MLS database.
- Work with the CGBOR and MLS staff and leadership to write a plan that prioritizes and resolves any urgent issues.
- Keep the CGBOR and MLS organizations in compliance with NAR core standard requirements and each of the organizations’ strategic plan.
- Have the necessary skills and experience, and be available to manage and be a resource for staff.
