These Social Media Guidelines for NAR Leaders (Guidelines) are intended to enable NAR leaders to maintain their ability to express themselves personally on social media, while also ensuring that the reputation and work of NAR is protected.
The Hub is a community platform for every NAR committee, work group, advisory board, and advisory group to use to conduct association business. It allows committees to operate with transparency but within a secure, members-only environment. Committee members can use The Hub to get to know one another, discuss committee business, share documents, and prepare for in-person meetings.
Charles McMillan, CIPS, the 2009 president of the National Association of REALTORS®, whose consensus-building spirit and get-it-done style helped steer NAR through the depths of the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, died Wednesday in Ft. Worth, Texas, after complications from congestive heart failure. He was 66.
At the November 6, 2017 Board of Directors meeting in Chicago, NAR outlined its opposition to current tax reform legislation before Congress, and added flexibility in MLS participation for brokers and agents.
