On Feb. 9, the Supreme Court issued an emergency order blocking the EPA from implementing its Clean Air Plan to reduce CO2 emissions from power plants.  The 5-4 vote put the plan on hold until a lower court can rule on a challenge from state and industry groups this summer. 

NAR had previously commented on the rule and expressed concerns that the Plan could increase electricity costs for homeowners and decrease the reliability of the electrical grid.
