Proposed HUD Continuum of Care Rule

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking comment on the project funding formula for the Homeless Emergency Assistance and Rapid Transition to Housing: Continuum of Care Program, which is designed to address the critical problem of homelessness through a coordinated community- based process of identifying needs and building a system of housing and services to address those needs. The funding formula for projects under the Continuum of Care Program is based upon various factors, such as poverty levels, to determine need in a given geographic area. HUD is asking for comment on how to best calculate the funding formula.

Comments are due September 23, 2016.
