NAR Sends Letter to the Senate in Support of the 2020 Census

On July 16th, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee held a hearing on “Conducting a Secure and Accurate Count” for the 2020 Census. The Committee heard testimony from Census Bureau Director Dr. Steven Dillingham, and representatives from the Government Accountability Office.  NAR sent a letter to the Committee emphasizing the importance of the upcoming Census, and explaining the many benefits of Census data, including how NAR uses the data in its business and policy functions. NAR supports a full funding for the upcoming 2020 Census to ensure and accurate and complete count.
