On Friday, May 15, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) released a notice to clarify requirements for lenders when preparing mortgage transaction documents needed for FHA’s insurance endorsement. The intent of the notice is to reduce lender fears about buy backs or other penalties from the government. The industry has until July 14, 2015 to comment.
