  • The land market strengthened in 2017 compared to 2016, bolstered by strong residential and commercial land sales and the rebound in agricultural land sales.  
  • The average change in price per acre of residential land sold rose 5%, while that of commercial land rose 4%.  
  • The price of agricultural land also rose 2% after falling (-1%) in 2016, as commodity prices stayed flat, after declining in 2014-2016.
