The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the 2016 Platinum Global Achievement Program Award to the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®’s MORe Global Committee and Council at the Annual Conference & Expo in Orlando, FL. The Association staff and volunteer leaders demonstrated high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach and Benchmarking.

In addition to excelling in the above categories, the MORe Global Committee and Council took the opportunity to restructure its group in 2016 and by doing so saw an increase in participation of 800%! In part, due to that growth, they have been able to tap into the wealth of knowledge provided by those members and benefit their association as a whole. “MORe's relationship building with other agencies such as Illinois Department of Commerce along with our shared information, power points, and data, has led some of our members to promote business and real estate opportunities in Illinois and Chicagoland at events held abroad; in such places as Poland, India, South Korea, and Prague. Our members and our Association have become nationally respected as experts in our field. Resulting in what we always feel is our number one goal and that is to help our members grow their business, and in this regard, their "Global" business.

In 2015, MORe Global Real Estate Committee received the Platinum Achievement Award. Prior to that, they held Gold in 2014 and Silver in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Congrats, MORe Global Real Estate Committee and Council!
