Missouri homeowners affected by a November 2024 flood could receive a grant from Missouri Realtors®, the National Association of Realtors® Relief Foundation and local Realtor® boards, including St. Louis, St. Charles, Franklin County, Mineral Area and Southern Gateway Association of Realtors®.
The grants will provide up to $1,000 per household for housing-related expenses, including one month’s mortgage for a damaged home, temporary rental costs, or reimbursement for hotel expenses due to displacement.
“The damage across our state has been heartbreaking,” Derek Schriewer, president of Missouri Realtors® said in a statement. “As REALTORS®, we know the importance of having a safe and secure place to live and are honored to provide financial assistance to cover mortgage payments or temporary shelter for those whose homes were impacted by these disasters.”
