Real estate technology is becoming increasingly global.

Second Century Ventures, the strategic investment arm of the National Association of REALTORS®, recently announced a new partnership with the Asociacion Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios, Mexico’s leading real estate association. Leaders of both groups say the collaboration builds on one of the world’s strongest cross-border real estate relationships, fueled by investment, migration, second-home ownership and decades of cooperation between NAR and AMPI.

The partnership aims to expand technology adoption, strengthen collaboration and better connect real estate professionals in both countries with emerging technologies through SCV’s REACH, the world’s leading real estate technology growth program.

For real estate professionals, the partnership also could provide new educational opportunities, market research, innovation assessments and benchmarking studies designed to identify industry needs and shape future technology solutions.

A Growing Proptech Network

Wednesday’s announcement builds on a growing relationship established through the REACH LATAM program, which earlier this year welcomed a new cohort of proptech companies from across Latin America

“Our longstanding relationship with NAR has strengthened our profession for years, and this partnership with Second Century Ventures marks the next evolution of that collaboration,” says Jenny Rivas, president of AMPI. “Together, we are creating new opportunities for our members to embrace innovation, connect with global technology leaders and help shape the future of real estate across Mexico.”

Tyler Thompson, managing partner of SCV and REACH, says Mexico has become one of Latin America’s fastest-growing innovation hubs.

“For more than a decade, we've partnered with outstanding entrepreneurs building technologies that transform real estate," Thompson says. “Mexico continues to emerge as one of Latin America’s most exciting innovation markets, and AMPI is the ideal partner to help us bring meaningful technology to professionals across the country.”

The announcement reflects the latest international expansion of SCV and REACH. REACH operates accelerator programs across the U.S., Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Latin America, New Zealand and the Middle East, and has supported more than 400 proptech companies over the last decade. The program is bringing new technologies—from AI and transaction management to property data and marketing tools—to real estate professionals globally.

AMPI is the latest organization to partner with SCV’s fast-growing international network. “The talent, the ambition, and the heart of Mexico’s real estate professionals are superb,” says Dave Garland, managing partner at SCV. “Standing beside AMPI—an institution that has protected and elevated this profession for nearly 70 years—we are going to make sure Mexican practitioners aren’t just keeping pace with the future of real estate. They’re helping build it.”
