Millennials transformed cities like Denver and Austin into major metro areas, so experts are watching Gen Z’s moves closely to see where they will unleash their influence.
Gen Z is the most ethnically diverse, technologically savvy generation in history, and they’re on track to be the most highly educated age group yet, according to a new analysis by moveBuddha, a moving option resource for consumers. Researchers tracked employment opportunities, population trends, and additional social and economic data to predict which American cities will offer the best living conditions for Gen Z.
This generation is likely to usher in a post-pandemic urban comeback. Three of the top five cities with the best job prospects for Gen Z are in metro areas with populations of 6 million or more: Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Boston, according to the study.
