Commercial real estate practitioners nationwide—from financing and development to sales, property management and more—will convene in September in South Florida to talk trends, network, and unlock new business opportunities. The National Association of REALTORS® and The CCIM Institute announced that the C5 + CCIM Global Summit will take place Sept. 17–19, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla.

“The 2024 C5 + CCIM Global Summit provides business, learning and networking opportunities for commercial real estate professionals while also leaning into what’s new and next in this dynamic industry,” says NAR President Kevin Sears. “Whether you’re buying, selling or financing commercial property, the C5 + CCIM Global Summit is your destination for valuable information and insights on commercial properties and projects in markets across the U.S.”

Last year’s event brought together more than 450 companies and organizations, including commercial investors and influential industry leaders, commercial brokers and developers, state and local REALTOR® associations, economic development corporations, government officials, REITs, and domestic and international investors.

NAR and CCIM announced the lineup for the September conference, including:

  • Dan Marino: The Pro Football Hall of Famer, Miami Dolphins legendary quarterback, entrepreneur, and philanthropist will give the closing keynote on Thurs., Sept. 19, as he shares his insights on overcoming adversity, setting high standards and achieving true greatness.
  • Tiffani Bova: The growth strategist, executive advisor, influential thought leader, and two-time Wall Street Journal bestselling author will deliver the opening keynote on Tues., Sept. 17. Bova will reveal her vision on how companies can thrive in today’s competitive environment, emphasizing the importance of customer experience, innovation and strategic agility.
  • Paco Underhill: CEO and founder of Envirosell and New York Times bestselling author, Underhill will speak on Wed., Sept. 18.
  • “Brokerage Leadership in Action”: The session will feature commercial real estate brokerage leaders Bob Knakal and Jay Olshansky, who will be interviewed by popular podcaster Michael Bull.
  • “Mixed Use Building Communities Not Just Building Buildings”: The session will feature Mark Toro, chief vision officer of Toro Development Company.
  • “Capital Markets: Trends and Insights”: This session will be headlined by Spencer Levy, global client strategist and senior economic advisor for CBRE, and Gunnar Branson, CEO of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate.
  • “It’s Not Who You Know…Attention is the New Currency!”: This session will feature Beth Azor, founder and CEO of Azor Advisory Services.
  • “Market Dynamics and Economic Outlook: Global and Domestic Forecast”: This session will be highlighted by NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun and Moody’s Analytics Senior Economist Kevin Fagan.

The summit also will offer optional educational courses from The CCIM Institute; some may be eligible for continuing education credits.
