The National Association of REALTORS® wants to honor members who exemplify dedication to volunteer service and bettering their community.

The National Association of REALTORS® has begun accepting applications for the 2024 Good Neighbor Awards, which provides funding and a national platform to members who lead extraordinary charitable efforts. The deadline for entries is April 17.

Five winners will be selected to receive a $10,000 grant for their nonprofit organization and will be recognized in November during NAR NXT, The REALTOR® Experience, in Boston. Five honorable mentions also will be selected, each receiving a $2,500 grant toward their charity.

“The Good Neighbor Awards highlight the remarkable dedication of agents who are REALTORS® to making a meaningful difference where they live and work,” says NAR President Kevin Sears. “As we celebrate 25 years of this program, we are reminded of the power of giving back and how one person can change the lives of many.”

The Good Neighbor Awards has recognized over 240 REALTORS® and contributed more than $1.5 million to REALTOR®-led charities with domestic and international reach. Past winners represent 44 states and Puerto Rico.

“We’ve witnessed the profound impact and been inspired to make a difference with consumers, customers and housing industry partners,” says Mickey Neuberger, chief marketing officer at realtor.com®, a primary sponsor of the Good Neighbor Awards.

Nominees must be NAR members in good standing and be able to show how they’ve made a significant impact as a volunteer for a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. A panel of judges will choose nominees based on their community impact through their volunteer work.
