“I left a salaried construction position to enter the real estate business during a down market. My thought was if I can’t succeed in a tough market, I shouldn’t be in the business. I prepared myself well. During college, I designed my own construction management major and I worked several construction-related jobs. After graduation, my job as a field manager with Turner Construction taught me how buildings come together and how to analyze construction costs. Today, those skills help me determine the best possible use for every property and allow me to excel in new construction and land acquisition.”
