Never Out of Sight
As the son and grandson of real estate professionals, Matt Laricy, 29, says selling real estate is in his blood. His family’s roots in the profession mean Laricy “gets” the business. But his own success did not come overnight. “For the first year or three, I questioned if I had made the right decision,” he says. But this year, he’s on pace to close $42 million in sales. “So I’m glad I stuck with it.” What’s fueling his accomplishments? “My main marketing strategy has been to become impossible to miss online in the downtown markets in which I work. I have tried to own at least 40 percent of the ZIP codes I work in on virtually every Web site out there,” Laricy explains. “I like to think that if you’re searching for a property in my markets, you won’t be able to miss me.”
