"One of the best experiences of my life was undoubtedly being a quarterback on a successful Big 10 college football team. I played for the Iowa Hawkeyes all four years of college and was part of the fun and excitement that come with playing on a winning team. It was on the football field I learned how to effectively communicate and motivate people from a myriad of backgrounds—socioeconomic, ethnic, and geographic. And balancing the demands of football with academics taught me to strategically manage my time, not unlike a small business owner."
