"My business has been very investor-focused. When the inventory shrank, it was more difficult to secure properties for investors. So I went back to the drawing board and asked myself how to deal with that issue. The answer I came up with was to focus on listings. I started marketing to old cancelleds and expireds that had tried to sell between 2009–2011. Many had stayed in the property and thought they would have to be there a long time because the market was bad."
