Focus on Metrics
As one of two lead agents on her team, Allison Goodhart focuses on prospecting, marketing, and negotiating contracts. Her love of details, she says, fuels her team’s success. Goodhart closely tracks all client contacts, appointments, signed agreements, and transactions. Her team’s volume jumped from $45 million to nearly $80 million in the last three years. “It’s easy to see the glamorous side [of real estate],” she says, “but a lot happens behind the scenes.” Two coveted internships—one in the U.S. Senate and the other with New York real estate maven Barbara Corcoran—helped Goodhart develop poise and confidence. “I’m organized and competitive, and I always want to improve how we’re doing things for our clients,” says Goodhart, now 29. “I like having goals to achieve and measure.”
