Kenny Parcell, a REALTOR® from Spanish Fork, Utah, is the National Association of REALTORS® 2018 Vice President of Government Affairs.
A REALTOR® for over 20 years, Kenny is the Broker/Owner of Equity Real Estate Utah. He holds the professional designations of Accredited Buyer’s Representative® (ABR®), Kenny continues to sell real estate, and has sold more than 2,000 homes during his 20 plus year career.
In 2017 Kenny served as NAR's REALTOR Party RPAC Fundraising Liaison. He served as NAR’s Vice President for Region 11 and in 2015 he was NAR’s REALTOR® Party Director. In 2013, he was the NAR REALTOR® Party Member Involvement Liaison. In 2012, Kenny was the NAR Information, Communication, and Business Development Liaison. Kenny has served on both the NAR Board of Directors the NAR Executive, NAR Finance, Reserve and Investments and Strategic thinking committees.
The Utah Association of REALTORS® (UAR) elected Kenny as President in 2011. He served on the UAR Board of Directors from 2006 to 2012 and as an RPAC Trustee from 2009 to 2012. In 2013, UAR named him REALTOR® of the Year.
The Utah County Association of REALTORS® (UCAR) elected Kenny as President in 2008. Since 2004, Kenny served UCAR in numerous leadership roles and on committees. UCAR named him REALTOR® of the Year in 2006.
Kenny’s awards are vast. He received the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006; he became a RE/MAX Hall of Fame inductee in 2004; and REALTOR® Magazine named him in its Top 30 under 30 in 2001. After serving a two-year mission with the Latter-Day Saints Church in Tennessee, he returned to play football for Brigham Young University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business in 1998. Kenny and his wife, Heather, are the parents of four beautiful children: Kelsey, Cade, McKell, and Wyatt.
