George Belch is professor and chair of the marketing department at San Diego State University and has published articles in a number of journals, including the Journal of Marketing Research, the Journal of Consumer Research, and The Journal of Advertising. In 2000 he was selected Marketing Educator of the Year by the Marketing Educators’ Association.

Drs. George and Michael Belch are the coauthors of Advertising and Promotion: An Integrated Marketing Communications Perspective, a leading textbook in the field. They have done consulting work and conducted seminars in marketing and advertising for such companies as Arbitron, Qualcomm, Microsoft, and Xerox.
