On Tuesday May 14th, the Research team spoke about some of the possibilities of predictive analytics to the Data Strategies Committee.  Aleksander Velkoski, Director of Data Science, and Karen Belita, Data Scientist, presented descriptive and predictive examples of analytics at work in member retention and communication outreach to the committee.

The purpose of the Data Strategies Committee is to monitor and recommend actions and strategies affecting the sharing, distribution, capture and utilization of data. They also analyze research and trends, global strategies, and the competitive landscape regarding property data and recommend appropriate association action.  The Committee is comprised of an RPR Advisory Board representative; an AEC Representative; two representatives from each of the following: MLS Technology and Emerging Issues Advisory Board, Federal Technology and Policy Committee, the Large Residential Firms Real Estate Services Advisory Group and 20 At-Large members that meet the qualifications.

Over the long-run, the team and the committee will work across the organization to determine how best to leverage their findings to enhance membership and organization outcomes.
