David Kent (ABR®, ABRM, C2EX, CIPS, CRS) is a REALTOR® with over 30 years of experience in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, where he lives with his wife, Minou, and their German Shepherd, Maizy. He has two daughters, Hanna, who lives in Albany, N.Y., and Alexandra, who lives in New York City.
Before embarking on his real estate career, David was a licensed builder and worked for several local building companies in the Charleston, South Carolina, area.
David has served at all three levels of the REALTOR® organization. Nationally, he is the 2024 NAR Region 4 Regional Vice President, serving Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. In 2023, he served as NAR REALTOR® Party Disbursement Liaison, and previously served as Chair of the RPAC Trustees Federal Disbursement Committee.
David is a Golden R Major Investor, a President’s Circle member, and an RPAC Hall of Fame member.
He also sits on the REBAC Advisory Board.
In 2017, David served as President of South Carolina REALTORS®, which honored him as the REALTOR® of the Year that same year. In 2007, David served as President of the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS®.
David graduated from the NAR Leadership Academy in 2009.
