In an effort to educate clients about the risk of wire fraud, a number of REALTOR® associations have developed wire fraud notices for use by their members. In addition to serving as an educational tool, the integration of such a notice in a real estate professional’s practice may serve as an effective risk management tool to protect real estate professionals from liability related to wire fraud.
