Carol S. Griffith (GRI), a REALTOR® from Brighton, Michigan, was the 2019 National Association of REALTORS® liaison for Region 6 comprised of Michigan and Ohio.

Carol is a third-generation Michigan REALTOR® with more than 40 years of experience and has earned Realtor Emeritus status. She is the co-owner of Griffith Realty in Brighton, where she specializes in residential real estate.

Carol first became involved at the national level by serving on NAR’s Membership Policy & Board Jurisdiction Committee in 2009. Since then, she has participated on numerous committees and served as the RPAC Trustees Federal Disbursement Committee Liaison in 2017. She has been a member of NAR’s Board of Directors multiple times since 2012. She will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2019.

Carol is a member of the Michigan Association of REALTORS® and served as their president in 2014.

Her local association, the Livingston County Association of REALTORS®, named Carol their REALTOR® of the Year in 1983, 2005, 2013, and again in 2018. She served as their president in 2005 and continues to serve as Chair of Governmental Affairs.

Carol is an elected official and has served on the Livingston County Board of Commissioners since 2009. She is an avid volunteer for numerous nonprofit organizations that support building sustainable communities.
