Every day, NAR advocates for policy initiatives that strengthen the ability of Americans to own, buy and sell real property. On Jan. 7, 2014, NAR held an event with financial experts, including Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Richard Cordray.
NAR President-elect Chris Polychron, a REALTOR® from Hot Springs, Ark., moderated the event and lauded the CFPB for creating a safer, more transparent lending environment with loans that are required to meet stringent underwriting standards.
