In recognition of Dale Stinton’s 35+ year career at NAR, the AEC is asking the AE community to send self-made video well-wishes and messages for Dale. The videos will be edited and presented to him upon his retirement. During the AE Institute, we plan to run a 5-7 minute “highlight reel” of these messages. Please send your 30 second video to Courtney Wilson (cwilson@realtors.org). Deadline extended to February 15th.
Video recording tips:
Use a tripod, or set your camera somewhere steady to record your video. Shaky videos are less appealing. If that’s not an option, have a friend record the video for you. Whatever you do, don’t make a selfie video, please!
Find a quiet place to record your video and be fairly close to the camera so it can pick up your voice clearly when speaking in a normal tone.
Please keep your video between 30 seconds and 1 minute long, maximum.
Set your camera to 720P resolution if possible when making your video. This will keep the file size more manageable for both your upload and our download. If you’re using an iPhone, you can find your video setting at Settings>Photos&Camera>Record Video. This should be set at 720p HD at 30fps. We’ll accept 1080p HD at 30fps, but definitely don’t use 60fps or 4K video settings, please.
