Work Group Purpose

Review NAR’s online HR Toolkit and make recommendations for new and updated content.

Background

NAR has numerous association management resources on nar.realtor that support AEs in all aspects of their careers. As Core Standards take shape and new ways of doing business emerge (mergers, consolidations, chapters), AEC leadership identified a need to confirm that the human resources materials were up-to-date.  The HR Toolkit Work Group was formed to ensure that this online resource is current and meets AEs’ human resources needs.

Meeting Activity

Brian Miller, nar.realtor Content Strategist, gave an overview of the newly revamped Human Resources Toolkit on nar.realtor. His presentation not only highlighted the changes to the toolkit, which include a view for association leaders, but helped work group members understand how the content should be prepared so it is easy to view on mobile devices. He also fielded questions from work group members.

Next Steps

Chair Jerry Panz invited work group members to offer their feedback on the revamped toolkit and gave everyone until November 30 to share their input. Based on this feedback, staff will make any additional changes to the toolkit and start promoting it in December.
