Leadership Academy

In 2008, the National Association of REALTOR® Leadership Academy was created to support experienced state and local association leaders considering stepping up to serve the national association, while preparing them to build on the profession’s long legacy of ethics, advocacy and service.

Since its founding, the Academy has welcomed over 300 participants, each becoming part of a growing story of REALTOR® leadership grounded in more than a century of organizational evolution.

Every Leadership Academy class begins with committed REALTORS® ready to expand their impact. After graduation, their collective achievements demonstrate how effectively they bring their experience and desire to serve to leadership roles across the country.

Board of Directors Leadership Roles

160+ graduates have served as Committee Chairs or Chair Members across forums, committees, advisory groups, boards and councils.
Committee Liaison—46 graduates have served in this role, with 28 appointed since 2020.
Regional Vice Presidents—39 graduates have taken on these roles, with 20 appointed since 2020.
