Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (commercial overlay board)

What: The Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ICBR) is unique not only as a commercial overlay board, but as a statewide overlay board. ICBR has the state divided into 8 districts and each district has a nominated district representative who holds a voting seat on the board of directors. This statewide representation allows each district to hold a meeting in their respective areas more effectively and efficiently, and also allows each district to have a voice at the table on the board of directors.
To further enhance the commercial relationship throughout the state, ICBR also has representatives from the following commercial organizations on their Board: Appraisal Institute – Hoosier Chapter; BOMA – Indianapolis Chapter; CCIM – Indiana Chapter; CREW – Indianapolis Chapter; IREM – Indianapolis Chapter; NAIOP – Indiana Chapter; ICSC – Indiana Chapter; SIOR – Indiana/Kentucky Chapter
Each of these representatives also holds a voting seat on the board of directors, provided they are a member of ICBR per the bylaws.
Is it successful: Yes. Bringing all of the commercial organizations together from throughout the state allows for collaboration and cooperation amongst each of the groups.
Is it affordable: Yes, virtually no cost.
Is it sustainable: Absolutely!
Is it replicable: Absolutely!
