What: Commercial Accreditation
Is program successful: Staff is working on commercial accreditation for the association. Commercial agents are not engaged and need to have a defined reason to attend. Planning 2015 quarterly meetings with specified topics offered at each meeting. Offered CCIM classes for commercial participants and offered a “discovering commercial real estate” class for residential agents. There are a lot of commercial participants in the area and they are trying to offer value to commercial members.
Is program affordable: The classes offered are making a slight income.
Is program sustainable: They hope to grow the program and to offer value.

What: Various commercial services
Is program successful: Yes. The association participates with Catylist to offer a commercial MLS. There is a sub-chapter of CCIM that meets monthly at the association. Attendance varies and speakers discuss economic development or related topics. All association members are invited to participate and attend the monthly meeting. The association provides data referencing the market on a monthly basis to the local media and for members on our website. Social media is used to share information as well. Commercial education is offered on an infrequent schedule, but more dedicated education is planned for 2015.
