Industry consultant Ann Bailey of Pranix, Inc., in conjunction with the COVE group of MLSs, prepared this detailed checklist of issues for MLSs and brokers to consider when evaluating an agreement to directly license listing data to a third party. The checklist addresses common licensing provisions related to data ownership, usage, display, and other standard contractual terms.
