EPA Releases Annual Accomplishments Report

The EPA published a 2018 Year In Review report highlighting the agency's major accomplishments. This report highlights key steps EPA has taken to protect the environment and public health. In the introduction, Acting Administrator Andrew Wheeler noted three major regulatory proposals: the Affordable Clean Energy rule, the Safer Affordable Fuel Efficient Vehicles rule, and the new waters of the U.S. definition." A section of the report titled "WATER: Providing Clean & Safe Water" mentions the new water rule and its "clear and common-sense approach to identifying waters that are subject to federal regulation."
