February 15, 2026
- Instruction documents about the application and selection process are available on nar.realtor/committees.
March 1 – June 19, 2026
- Committee Application Website opens for 2027 committees on March 1.
- Members complete/update their Expertise Profiles.
- Members submit a committee application for up to five (5) committees, and seek up to three (3) endorsements per application.
- Members submit endorsements for applicants.
June 19, 2026
- DEADLINE: Committee Application Website closes.
June 20 – July 1, 2026
Committee application feedback window opens for:
- State AEs to recommend members for their state representative positions on committees.
- State associations review and submit feedback on applications received from members of their state.
- Institute, Societies, and Councils (ISC) EVPs recommend members for their ISC representative positions on committees.
- Multicultural partners provide recommendations for their representative positions on committees.
July 1, 2026
- DEADLINE: Recommendations due from State AEs and ISC EVPs on representative seats and committee applications.
July 31, 2026
- NAR Director allocations determined using membership numbers.
August 1, 2026
- Director submission website opens.
September 1, 2026 (Tentative)
- 2027 Chair and Vice Chair appointment letters are emailed to members.
September 15 – 25, 2026
• Window for State AEs and ISC EVPs to review preliminary committee appointments for all members within their state/organization.
September 2026 (Dates TBD)
- Committee Leadership Camp virtual training sessions for selected 2027 chairs and vice chairs, committee liaisons, and staff executives.
October 15, 2026 (Tentative)
- 2027 Committee member appointments are announced.
October 31, 2026
- DEADLINE: State associations and local boards submit director(s) names for director entitlement allocations. Failure to submit names on this date results in the association’s forfeiture of the allocated director seat.
November 30, 2026
- 2026 Committee terms end.
