NAR's Day in the Life of a REALTOR® Program

Find out about hosting a staff member.

Starting in 2018, all NAR staff will spend a day learning about our members’ and association colleagues’ day-to-day business activities. If you’re selected for this pilot program, you’ll be able to provide NAR staff with a better understanding of the real estate business and its dedicated practitioners. By spending quality time with agents, brokers, or local/state association staff, NAR employees should come away with empathy for what REALTORS® do each day, which translates into even better service from NAR.

NAR staff will participate in this pilot program in a variety of ways. These day-long opportunities will include:

  • Shadowing an agent in and out of the office during the work day
  • Visiting a brokerage, which could include sales team meetings with the broker and other office activities
  • Visiting a local/state REALTOR® association
