Both the House and Senate are in session this week. What issues should REALTORS® follow? the Equality Act; and the Broadband Interagency Coordination Act (NAR has submitted a letter supporting this legislation).

  • H.R. 5, "The Equality Act" - A bill to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation, and for other purposes" — House Rules Committee

Wednesday, May 15

  • Markup of and S.1294, the "Broadband Interagency Coordination Act" - A bill to require Federal agencies with jurisdiction over broadband deployment to enter into an interagency agreement related to certain types of funding for broadband deployment — Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee.
