Keller Williams has launched an initiative to help its real estate agents become sports and entertainment experts with expectations of catering to clients in those sectors. The real estate giant has launched a sports and entertainment arm that will bring training, coaching, events, and referral opportunities to real estate agents and their teams interested in working with clients in the sports and entertainment industries.

“Professional athletes, musicians, and artists represent an upper echelon of real estate clientele,” the new KW site states. “Breaking into this exclusive sector—and using it as your competitive differentiator—calls for something a bit more.”

The company’s Sports and Entertainment group intends to provide agents with resources to help them grow their network and develop their personal brand.

“We’re excited to announce how we’re providing our agents and teams with a rich suite of tools and training to best tailor their businesses to succeed with sports and entertainment clients,” says Sajag Patel, vice president of segments at Keller Williams.

Jordan Stuart, a real estate pro who has represented or advised more than 500 sports and entertainment clients, will be the director of S+E at KW, tasked with building the brand’s training and coaching resources. Stuart, who once played varsity men’s soccer at Haverford College, mentors Division 1 college athletes across the country in real estate through opportunities with name, image, and likeness sponsorships.

“Our Sports and Entertainment community is an opportunity to connect like-minded agents within KW to develop deeper relationships,” says Stuart. “Our goal is to build a diverse community of real estate agents that will fuel a world-class client experience. … Our programming is tailored towards the individual agent, giving them each an opportunity to enhance their personal brand, knowledge, and expertise in this highly competitive area of the real estate market.”

Jason Ross, a Florida real estate agent with more than 18 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry, will also join the team as operations officer for S+E. He will focus on the expansion and innovation efforts of the new community.

KW says that it expects to launch five more emerging business segments and communities by the end of 2022.
