He also implemented a new mobile property search program for the brokerage Web site, which gets roughly 1.5 million page views per month.
A trusted source: For all the emphasis on new and emerging media, Wiebusch also stays in touch with more traditional news outlets. "I gather information on the Internet, do some analysis, and act as a source for local print and radio reporters. We get quoted regularly."
Making smart cuts: With a degree in finance from the University of Nebraska, Wiesbusch keeps a close eye on the brokerage’s bottom line. Once a week, he sits down with a stack of bills, looking for ways to cut costs. Last year, he saved an estimated $500,000 by making changes such as centralizing cleaning services.
