Sustainability Summit – June 2024

The Sustainability Summit helps members, associations, and industry professionals understand how sustainability and resilience are transforming the real estate profession by exploring best practices, innovations, and resources to navigate rapid change within the real estate sector. From client relationships, consumer preferences, home performance, insurance, financing, valuation, and climate risk, this can’t miss event positions REALTORS® for success. Attendees at the Sustainability Summit will build connections with REALTORS® and industry professionals from around the country to increase our collective value proposition to clients and community. 2024 is the second year of open registration for the Sustainability Summit, so come experience a bigger, better, bolder event where you can learn how integrating sustainability into your business can increase your bottom line.

Sustainability in NAR's Strategic Plan

Both the Leadership & Influence Pillar and the Organizational Development & Performance Pillar include directives around sustainability. In short, these actions and opportunities strengthen our industry and quality of life. A focus on climate and sustainability boosts member understanding of the link to the built environment, and makes the development of sustainable, vibrant, healthy communities possible.

Further, we can provide a leadership voice on resilience and sustainability strategies in for the homes and communities where we work, live and play. The Strategic Plan includes the importance of NAR using an ESG+R lens to make decisions. Much like we consider equity and inclusion in decision-making, so too can we consider the health, performance, and sustainability of communities for clients.
