The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the 2019 Platinum Global Achievement Program Award to the Florida REALTORS® Global Business Committee at the Annual Conference & Expo in San Francisco, CA. The Association staff and volunteer leaders demonstrated high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach, and Benchmarking.

In addition to excelling in the above categories, the Florida REALTORS® Global Business Committee started a new event at their state association meetings in order to help their global members connect with others throughout the state and provided the opportunity for those new to the business to ask questions. The event was called the “Global Business Exchange” and the attendees exceeded room capacity! With 64 local councils throughout the state, this group certainly doesn’t stop thinking of new and inventive ways to connect their members to each other and to the world. Hosting trade missions to Dubai, Germany, and Canada in addition to accompanying the Governor of Florida on a state trade mission to Tel Aviv and always being a resource and presence for the local members and associations is why this association continues to be a shining example!

In 2018, 2017, 2015, and 2014, the Florida REALTORS® Global Business Committee held Platinum. In 2013, they received Gold.
