Foot Traffic: Jefferson City Area Board of REALTORS® (MO)

  • Foot traffic provides a strong indication of future home sales. SentriLock, LLC. provides NAR Research with monthly data on the number of showings.
  • Foot traffic in the area covered by the Jefferson City Area Board of REALTORS® (MO) eased sharply between August and September, but surged again in October relative to the same time in 2011.
  • Sub-3.5% mortgage rates, strong price growth, and soft, but steady employment growth is drawing fence sitters into the market. This pattern will ease as prices appreciate, unlocking underwater owners to sell and move.
