White House to Extend Health Care Deadline for Some

The Obama administration has extended enrollment under the Affordable Care Act past the March 31 deadline for people who have had difficulty signing up, the administration has announced. The deadline to start the enrollment process remains March 31.

The extension provides extra time for those who’ve started the enrollment process by that date to complete the process if they encounter problems.

Please note that the Administration’s extension is only applicable to the federally-run state exchanges.
