The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the 2018 Platinum Global Achievement Program Award to the Triangle International Council of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® at the Annual Conference & Expo in Boston, MA. The Association staff and volunteer leaders demonstrated high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach and Benchmarking.

In addition to excelling in the above categories and providing their members with quality networking and education events, the Triangle International Council revamped their council’s communication strategy for 2018 with great results. From the newly launched global landing page on their website which includes robust information including research and past presentations that were given, to new ways in connecting with members and outside entities through social media, email and videos. Raleigh Regional also works with NAR to do an oversampling of the annual International activity report that NAR does in order to get a refined picture of what the international marketplace is in their local area. Through their use of this, and other data, they have identified a strong Indian market and in 2018 were appointed NARs Ambassador Association to India. They have shared this and other research data with local business entities and have truly begun to provide a bigger footprint for international business in their local market.

In 2011, 2016 and 2017 Triangle International Council held Gold. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2015 they held Silver.
