Move Inc. announced today the promotion of Curt Beardsley to executive vice president of industry development. “For the past seven years, Curt has served as the industry’s voice at Move in a variety of successive roles,” said Move CEO Steve Berkowitz, “from his deep roots with our Top Producer and ListHub industry products to his significant involvement in our data protection and accuracy initiatives. This is a formal acknowledgement of his day-to-day stewardship of the industry relationships that are central to our success.”

“I’m delighted to be giving Curt the recognition he so richly deserves,” Berkowitz said.

The announcement was one of two from the company today; Move also announced the resignation of realtor.com president Errol Samuelson.

Responding to the changes, NAR leaders said the association’s relationship with realtor.com is deeper than any one person and expressed excitement for the opportunity the change creates for Beardsley, who has been with realtor.com for seven years, most recently as their vice president of product marketing, and has a strong track record of being proactive and getting things done.

According to Move, Beardsley will continue in his role leading the company’s longstanding relationship with NAR and the more than 800 Multiple Listing Service (MLS) organizations it serves.
