The National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors took a big step to bolster brokerage cooperation during its Nov. 11, 2019 meeting in San Francisco, passing the Clear Cooperation policy. Additionally, the board extended the Code of Ethics training requirement from every two years to every three years.

NAR's 2020 Leadership Team guides the association’s strategic direction and policymaking in such areas as legislation, professional standards, and business services.
Each year, the incoming president-elect appoints vice chairs for all of NAR’s committees, forums, and advisory boards.
RVPs oversee the work of the association and serve as NAR spokespersons; attend their region’s conferences; and chair the regional caucuses held at NAR’s two annual meetings.
