NAR's Day in the Life of a REALTOR® Program

NAR staff committed to better understanding what our members do each day as a successful real estate professional.

The Day in the Life of a REALTOR® program launched in 2018 as a mandatory initiative for NAR staff to better understand the day-to-day business activities of our members. We remain committed to building our staff team’s awareness of the varied and often challenging role of our REALTORS®, and therefore require that each member complete the program requirements on an annual basis.

By spending quality time with agents, brokers, or local/state association staff, NAR employees should come away with empathy for what REALTORS® do each day, which translates into even better service from NAR.

NAR staff will participate in this program by watching live or recorded presentations by members, discussing real-time issues they are facing in the current real estate landscape; or by meeting with a member of their choosing (virtually or safely in person) to discuss the member’s experience.
